ABOUT ME
In 2015 I started up as a lash artist this was on a part-time basis and I spent my first 3 years travelling around the West Midlands as a mobile lash technician. I found that there was such a demand I couldn’t keep up with all my appointments and after gaining a large demanding cliental base I decided to make it my full-time job. I am a perfectionist when it comes to lashes and I have a real passion for wanting to my customers to feel the best they can about themselves.
I now consider myself a ‘forever student,’ eager to both build on my academic foundations and ensuring I stay in tune with the latest marketing strategies through continued training. This led me to take teaching exam and I am now an accredited educator and run training courses through my Academy - LL Training Academy.
I feel it is important to have consultations with my clients prior to them having their lashes as everyone is an individual and we all have different eye shapes. When clients bring photos of the style they want I will discuss what is best for their eye shape and what lengths & styles will enhance their appearance. My eldest client to date was a lady of 87 who wanted lashes for a special event.
Since starting my training academy I have ensured my trainees feel confident in completing sets on mannequins and live models, I keep the demonstrations and terminology simple and encourages all learners to feel confident to ask questions. With on-going support after qualifying.
